In this tutorial, I will show you each step on how to delete your Instagram account. The process is so simple and easy. So, let’s begin.
1. Select “
More ”
Select “ More” located at the left bottom corner.
2. Select Settings
Now, more options will open. Select settings from there.
3. Select Personal Details
Select Personal Details located under Meta Accounts Center on the right-hand side.
4. Select Personal details
Select Personal details again under Account Settings.
5. Select “Account ownership and Control”
Now, a new personal details tab will open with your Contact information, Date of birth, Identity Confirmation, and Account Ownership and Control.
Here, select “Account ownership and control”.
6. Select “Deactivation or deletion”
Now, select your Deactivation or deletion option.
7. Select your Instagram account
Here, you will be able to see your Facebook and Instagram accounts together if you have both social media accounts. Now is the time to select your Instagram account, because we are going to delete your Instagram account, not Facebook.
Select your Instagram account.
8. Delect account
Here, you will get two options: deactivate the account or delete the account. If you want to deactivate your account choose the first option. But, we are going through the deletion process, so select the second option and press continue.
9. Re-enter Password
For security reasons, you have to re-enter your password to make any changes to your account. So, re-enter your Instagram password and press continue to delete your account.
That’s it. Now, you should have successfully deleted your Instagram account.
After 30 days of your deletion process, your account and all information will be permanently deleted.
