You maybe wonder how can you integrate the WordPress subscribe form & Mailchimp? You may want your website subscriber added automatically to your Mailchimp chosen audience list? The process is pretty simple. Let’s begin:
Mailchimp:
- Login to your Mailchimp account.
- Click dropdown arrow, located at top right corner, behind your mailchimp account name & select Account.
- Navigate Extras -> API Keys
- Do you have an existing API keys? Great! You can use that one. If you don’t have existing API Keys create one by click “Create a Key“.Your API key will automatically created.
- Copy this newly created API Key. We need it later to paste in WordPress Mailchimp plugin.
WordPress:
- Login to your WordPress account.
- Navigate to Plugins -> Add new located at left hand side of dashboard.
- Search Mailchimp from the search bar
- Install “Mailchimp for WordPress“
- Activate it.
- Again, Navigate to “Mailchimp for WP -> Mailchimp” located at left hand side bar.
- Paste your Mailchimp API Key, which you were copied before.
- Save it. If it successfully connected then it will show green status and displayed all your Mailchimp audience list.
- Go to “Mailchimp for WP -> Form” to create a required field. Choose First Name, Last Name , Email Address & Submit fields.
- Save it.
- You can also choose which mailchimp audience field according to your choice.
- Done. That’s it.
